The Art House and The Sydney Symphony Orchestra presents
The Environment and Me | Sydney Symphony Orchestra School Concert
How does music tell stories of our planet? Long influenced by the natural world, music inspires us to see and feel the hidden beauty around us – the leaves rustling in the breeze, the birds singing, the moon rising. With sustainability one of the most pressing issues we face today, music is another place for students to think about what nature means to them – and what they’ll need to do to preserve it for future generations.
In this fun and interactive concert, join science communicator Dr Naomi Koh Belic and discover a musical world where the earth’s fascinating fauna and flora are brought to life by the inspiring sounds performed by the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
Aligned with the NSW Curriculum, this concert is supported by the Sydney Symphony Orchestra’s free Teacher Resource Kit.
