The Executive Director - look after all the programming and implement the strategic direction of the company.

What’s your favourite thing about working at The Art House?
I love that no 2 days are the same, and the opportunity to meet some incredible performers / theatre makers.

What has been your favourite show to come to The Art House?
OMG I have so many - but I think In The Heights. It was a different collaboration for us working with Blue Saint Productions and the Sydney Opera House, and seeing a show come alive on our stage and then how it can transfer to a much larger stage (The Sydney Opera House). It was a great feeling knowing that the Central Coast audiences got to see it first.

What do you do at The Art House?
I am the Production & Operations Manager. The shortest explanation is, I manage the organisation and implementation of all the technical and logistical elements of shows, along with the operations of the physical building itself. The long explanation takes up too many pages.

What’s your favourite thing about working at The Art House?
The incredibly large variety of shows we have, no day is the same as the last.

What has been your favourite show to come to The Art House?
My favourite would have been, In The Heights. Such a fun energetic show, and an amazing cast and crew to work with. Ticked all my boxes! I still hum the tunes.

What do you do at The Art House?
I am the Marketing and Development Manager so I manage the Box Office and Marketing Team, make sure everyone knows and loves The Art House, and seek opportunities to grow our audience and partner with media / other organisations on the Coast. I tell our story, celebrate our artists, and fill the seats!

What’s your favourite thing about working at The Art House?
The creativity, hands down. To be surrounded by a great team, and a constant stream of incredibly talented artists, writers, producers, technicians, and performers is exciting. I love that I get to contribute with my own creativity by writing every day. To then see how our creativity touches and entertains audiences is very rewarding.

What has been your favourite show to come to The Art House?
Backbone by Australian circus company Gravity & Other Myths. It is raw and no frills, leaving just the incredible physicality of its acrobats to do the talking. I love the way they let the audience see and hear how they support each other as a team to pull off their stunts.

What do you do at The Art House? 
I’m the Presenter Services Manager. I manage the venue services that focus on clients and patrons. I oversee venue hire and manage the Front of House, cafe and events staff to create positive experiences for our clients and audiences. 

What’s your favourite thing about working at The Art House? 
I love the diversity of events and shows that we present for our community - it’s what makes The Art House a place for everyone. I love that I get to work with such a wonderful, talented, hard-working people in a world class venue. 

What has been your favourite show to come to The Art House? 
Hard to choose, there’s so many good shows! I really liked Marrow and Paper Escaper was a delight

What do you do at The Art House?
As the Creative Producer my main focus is looking after The Art House Creatives programs. These programs give support and opportunities to our local professional artists. 

What’s your favourite thing about working at The Art House?
The coffee! Meeting and connecting artists has to be the most rewarding part of my job. The Central Coast is full of incredible artists doing awesome stuff. 

What has been your favourite show to come to The Art House?
I have to pick one! Euphoria was the first show to come to mind. The combination of many elements of the show that came together is what makes this a standout for me. A beautiful work with an exceptional cast telling a powerful story plus a fantastic and ingenious use of the set design.

What do you do at The Art House? 
I am the Café Coordinator, as well as caterer to The Art House performers and outside meetings. 

What’s your favourite thing about working at The Art House? 
My favourite thing about working at The Art House is that I get to create all different foods for The Art House’s clientele and staff. Every day is different, no one day is the same. It’s Awesome. 

What has been your favourite show to come to The Art House? 
At this stage I have not had the pleasure to watch a show, however, I do get to meet some amazing people.

What do you do at The Art House? 
I’m the Marketing and Box Office Assistant. It’s my job to help get the word out about all the great events coming to The Art House and to assist with all things ticketing. I also look after the venue’s Education Portfolio to help grow interest and support in the performing arts across the local schools’ network. 

What’s your favourite thing about working at The Art House? 
Getting to work in a worldclass venue in my own backyard. Growing up I never thought the Coast would have anything even close to The Art House and I love how no day here is ever the same. It beats your typical desk job that’s for sure! 

What has been your favourite show to come to The Art House? 
Ride The Cyclone. It was amazing to be a part of this cult musical’s Australian premiere and to be just one of two venues in the country where it was performed. The vibes were high, and the songs slapped.

What do you do at The Art House? 
I am one of the Technical Supervisors, so I mostly look after the technical aspect of shows held within The Art House. A saying I love is ‘No one knows what I do, until I don't do it’. I also solve endless problems that arise in theatre and occasionally make a few of my own. 

What’s your favourite thing about working at The Art House? 
The growth that is happening in The Art House and being part of that growth. Just makes me excited to see where things are going. 

What has been your favourite show to come to The Art House? 
I would never be able to pin it down to one show. Every show has its own challenges and little reminders of why I love my job.

What do you do at The Art House? 
I’m the Events Assistant. I manage our meeting room space and support the delivery of events including bookings, contracts, catering requirements, and general logistics across The Art House. 

What’s your favourite thing about working at The Art House? 
I love being part of something that brings exciting events to our local community. Being surrounded by creativity every day from performers to audiences, creates a buzz that makes working at The Art House feel very rewarding. 

What has been your favourite show to come to The Art House? 
If I had to pick just one, I’d say Wolfgang in the Stars has been my favourite so far.

What do you do at The Art House? 
I help meld stories and dreams into reality at The Art House in a technical aspect. I look after clients, staff and the Venue using my 20+ years in most areas of the industry. I also paint pretty pictures with a wonderful, state of the art lighting rig and console. 

What’s your favourite thing about working at The Art House? 
I believe the technical standards and workplace environment at TAH to be world class. I love how there is no division between the various areas and skillsets at TAH. I enjoy working in an environment that is respectful, supportive and happy. 

What has been your favourite show to come to The Art House? 
There is no such thing for me – I like a challenge and finding the path to a solution.

I shadow and assist our senior technical staff in the day-to-day operations, as well as help them set up for our upcoming shows whilst building my own knowledge and increasing my skillset at the same time. 

What’s your favourite thing about working at The Art House? 
Getting to experience the behind-the-scenes of some of the best state-of-the-art shows that we have to offer.

What do you do at The Art House? 
I’m the Front of House Coordinator and Duty Manager. So basically, look after everything related to staff and patrons at the theatre. 

What’s your favourite thing about working at The Art House? 
Meeting patrons who come and support the arts and seeing the joy it gives so many. Meeting performers who are passionate about their craft, and seeing so much talent! 

What has been your favourite show to come to The Art House? 
It would be like choosing a favourite child but a few highlights would be HAIR, Jimmy Barnes, Chocolate Starfish, Kate Ceberano, Troy Cassar-Daley, Human Nature, and a big highlight was when Jack Jones gave me a callout mid-show to make sure I was in the theatre listening to a favourite song and I wasn’t out in the foyer working - amazing!

What do you do at The Art House?
I work in Accounts ensuring everyone who needs to be paid is paid, cash is in the till & financial transactions are recorded correctly. 

What’s your favourite thing about working at The Art House?
Being surrounded by enthusiasm. It’s energizing to work with people who love what they do. 

What has been your favourite show to come to The Art House?
Awkward - a fun relatable story performed by a local dance company. Now I have the added bonus of getting to work with one of the dancers/directors.
