Masterclass: Movement for Puppetry with Bella Young
Join Terrapin, Tasmania’s renowned puppetry theatre company for a 2-hour masterclass with Bella Young.
Whether you're curious about puppetry or looking to expand your creative toolkit, this hands-on session will invite you to explore and develop technical performance skills in the making and delivery of puppet performance. You will explore the collaborative nature of puppeteering, and how puppetry combines technical choreography with playful storytelling and improvisation. Puppetry requires awareness, precision and responsiveness to the puppet, performer and audience concurrently - these skills are transferable across all performance disciplines.
Don’t miss your chance to learn from the best in an intimate setting. No prior puppetry skills necessary.
