Point of View is an exhibition by five local artists who work in different mediums with different approaches yet are connected by Chittaway Point and the annual art@work Festival of Creativity - which is a highlight of the Central Coast art calendar.

This exhibition showcases their work and includes a special feature on the highs and lows of 2020.

Featured Artists:

Patsy Burgess
“I enjoy the artistic freedom painting gives me to portray emotions, colour and design and many of my inspirations are organic in nature. I like to intersperse watercolour techniques with acrylic paints to allow spaces and shapes to emerge and play with our emotions.”

Janelle Ambrose
“With a background in ticket writing, detail is a major element of my work and I like to explore texture and mediums. Having lived on Chittaway Point for 40 years my love for nature shines through - spiked with humour and quirkiness.”

Marion Mikkelsen
“My inspiration is the natural world and I experiment with materials, textures and colour. I encourage my audience to be courageous, to question and to dream.”

Bronwyn Hunter
“Much of my work reflects my experiences and passion about issues of injustice – particularly with respect to restrictive social expectations placed on women. I work with a variety of materials, often in non ‘traditional’ and unexpected ways.”

Ian Johnson
“In my short time on the Central Coast, I have been greatly moved by the scenic beauty of the great lakes, particularly Tuggerah and Budgewoi. Many of my paintings and photographs have been inspired by this beauty.”
